Here is the issue.I mentioned that to the service manage when I set up the appointment to get the recall work done and asked about the recall covering any items that may be degraded, damaged or are in a non working condition that will need to be replaced because of the excessive oil consumption for the last 10,000 - 15,000 miles, i.e. I also have the rotten egg smell from my exhaust now. The last few days I have been getting an 'Engine Power is Reduced' along with a 'Service Stabili Trak' warning (see attached pics.) The engine dies now at stop lights and at low speeds. My SES light is what clued me into an issue about 15,000 miles ago and then ironically, received the letter a month or so after my SES light came on (attached). I turned my paperwork in and they have scheduled me next week to do 'the fix' dictated by the factory. The last 4 checks approaching the 6,000 mile mark I have been down 3/4 of a qt every 500 miles. I was instructed to check oil appx every 500 miles. My dealer had me track and document oil consumption for 6,000 miles before they would do anything about it.
